It was a late Christmas gift for the Towanda Black Knights at the Dist. 4 Team Duals as the Warriors dropped their first match 33-31 to Shamokin on Saturday at Milton. Little League lost a field last year to construction of the new high school field. This may cause some problems but should be looked at as an opportunity in disguise. Folks in this area were greeted with a quarter of an inch or so of ice on windshields, sidewalks, roads and porches on January 29. It caused at first a two-hour school delay and later a cancellation for the schools in Canton, Troy and other places. The ice was treacherous underfoot and there were numerous motor vehicle accidents, with cars skidding off icy roads....
