Canton named Tree City USA for thirteenth time

For the thirteenth time, Canton Borough was named a "Tree City" USA. Chad Gadsby of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, made the presentation to John Mosser, president of the Canton Borough Shade Tree Commission. In addition to the flag, The Shade Tree Commission received several other "Tree City" items from the National Arbor Day Foundation.

The Arbor Day Flag will be flown at Morse Park.

The presentation took place at the May 14 meeting of Canton Borough Council.
