It was nice to have a former Cantonian, Liz Landon coming back to her hometown to present a flute concert in tribute to David B. Morris, who was an avid fan of the arts and the Endless Mts. Festival of the Arts and Rialto Theater. 	Pictured welcoming Liz home was Executive Director of the Endless Mountains Festival of the Arts,  	Ms. Landon has performed in many other venues.. She has studied at Northwestern University and Rice University. She has served as principal flute in the Charlotte Symphony for the past 8 years. 	 Liz has performed as a substitute piccolo/principal flute with the Houston Symphony and the Minnesota Orchestra and was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for the 2005-06 season.
